Wet pond and dry pond depending on the soil conditions.
Here you are asking about the dry pond.
There are two ways for the water to leave the pond.--evaporation and infiltration.
Infiltration does not change the concentration of NaCl. so only consider the evaporation.
Then, the simplfied model is: using a plasic basin and filled with rain water and measure the the concentration of the NaCl.
BTW, the C of the NaCl in rain water is approx. 0.
